...seems like hirano pulls another fast one on us and reveals a cyborg major?! i guess that explains how he was able to age minimally.

Yeah, I'm a bit confused - after all, we've seen the guy eat, so he must be sorta human, maybe. He does say dieting is impossible for him, though.

It does explain things, though - his ideas on war are monstrous, and the only one who seems to approve of them are other vampires (well, and cat-boy).

good point on the dieting thing...i figured he just didn't care about dieting.

I should have noticed that he hadn't really aged much in the past 55 years, too.
