I loved the art and animation, half liked the funny interludes, but the plot really makes almost zero sense, from start to finish. For instance, in the end I ended up shouting to the unexplodable hydrogen airship.. "Blow up already!!". The attack on England was a true insult against the British Royal forces. Even if somehow the Nazi vampires managed to overtake all the UK's military bases, what about the patrolling submarines, navy destroyers, aircraft carriers and, particularly, the 5-7 fighter aircraft which are always in the air around the UK?
It would be ridiculously easy for them to blow up three hydrogen airships with no air defenses. Hell, three low grade ground to air missiles from London would do the trick. Or even RPGs! Since the airships's gas is flammable they use hydrogen. But this is apparently some very special type of hydrogen, since it has a resistance to burning/detonating similar to helium! Three WW2 era, slightly modified airships managed to obliterate the entire London in what looks like the modern era. Right.. If you think this show is perfect then you have very low standards.
In sort the show is very pretty but it's also very stupid.
