If there was a live-action movie based, who would you cast?

If there was a live-action movie based on the mangas or Hellsing Ultimate, who would you cast?

My choices:
Alucard - Christian Bale or Michael Fassbender

Seras Victoria - Emma Watson

Integra Hellsing - Tilda Swinton or Sigourney Weaver

Enrico Maxwell - Mark Strong or Jason Isacc

Walter - Geoffrey Rush, Bill Nighy or Ian McKellan

Alexander Anderson - Liam Neeson

The Major - Philip Seymour Hoffman

Pip Bernadotte - Some French Actor or James McAvoy

Director - Edgar Wright. Because if you look at Shaun Of The Dead, that film had a nice blend of Action, Horror and Comedy.

I agree fully on Bale as Alucard, Emma Watson as Seras and Nighy as Walter. Like come on, Bill Nighy is the perfect Walter. I have thought about Liam Neeson Anderson and it would be pretty funny because it's a character that completely diffrent from anyone he has ever played.

I would not cast Swinton or Weaver as Intergra. Someone younger. Integra is supposed to be around 35. Jason Issacs as Enrico... I can't actually think of anyone myself.

I don't agree about Philip Seymour Hoffman. The Major got to be played by Jürgen Vogel, an actual German. He is amazing and while he does not look a lot like The Major he has a pretty gaunt apperance. Max Riemelt should play The Captain. He looks kind of like him, only shorter(he's about 1,78 m) but that can be fixed with a little movie magic. Riemelt is pretty good at expressing emotion through facial expressions and rather muscula so he is perfect to play a mute brute like The Captain. Dieter Laser should be 'Doc' and Jennifer Ulrich should be Rip van Winkle.

You both read my mind. First guy that came up my mind was Christian Bale.
I'm glad others also believe he's a excellent choice. I just think he has that something wild and crazy up inside himself to pull out such character as Alucard is.

Don't know for others but I always thought how Cate Blanchett has that something even thought she is old, especially now (gosh I thought about these things while I was still in high school...8-9 years ago xD)
Maybe Rooney Mara could pull it out. Can't really imagine her with blond hair but she did great transformation for TGWTDT (she generally had long brow hair before and now she looks like completely different actress) and she has that unique unusual beauty that point out boyish look.
It's important for Integra in my opinion to have deep little rough female voice and little harsh look for a woman but to beautiful at the same time.

Seras Victoria...I imagine it like this, if Bale takes Alucard who would look good beside him. :) So it's really hard for me to choose. But at some point I thought Amanda Seyfried would go.
Today I prefer more Kat Dennings, Carey Mulligan and Haley Bennett.
Erica Cerra was excellent looking in Blade Trinity but is too old I guess.

Walter...Bill Nighy, not bad but it also could be played by Daniel Day-Lewis or even Michael Fassbender. I mean, just give them long black hair and that glass in one eye. Perfect!

Anderson...I know all will lough but the first image that came up to my mind was Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is just like some big dude such as terminator in my mind :D Gerard Butler maybe? or Sean Bean?

Maxwell...Jason Isacc, Vincent Cassel, Andy Garcia...

The Major and Captian shouldn't necessarily be played by some German actor.
There are many non German actor who can easily play fake accent and put in some German words. But I haven't really thought about that Nazi characters. Since Inglourious Basterds left really an impressive feeling on me after watching it I'm sure that Christoph Waltz should play some role.
Bruno Ganz was perfect as Hitler so he could take Major too.
Mads Mikkelsen is not German nor fat enough for Major but I would consider him too. Maybe Mikkelsen could do Doc.

Pip also doesn't have to be played by some French actor.
I have Ryan Gosling in my mind but any younger good looking man would work.
It's only important that he goes well with chosen Seras. And if we're talking about French, than how about Gaspard Ulliel?!

And director...Well I'm sure I don't wanna see a lot of comedy in Hellsing live action movie. (there was a lot of time and space for in in manga and series but movie should be dealing with the most important stuff) And since I would like to be dark as Batman was maybe Christopher Nolan can deal with it. He simply makes great darkish feeling in his movies.

The only person I can truly see as Alucard is Tom Hiddleston. Just look at his performance as Loki. There is no doubt in my mind that he could pull it off.

He's too baby face for Alucard. Alucard should be somebody with rough face lines, and not that pretty at all.

Years ago I saw a lot of fans talking about wanting to see Adrien Brody as Alucard. He certainly looks the part.
And I just saw a picture that convinced me that Liam Neeson would've made a good Anderson.

No, Alucard IS a prettyboy. That's Alucard's play. He looks young and pretty, which throws off his opponents until he cuts loose. Alucard looks and acts weak to lull his opponents into a false sense of security, making them think that they're superior.

I mean, Christian Bale as Alucard? Seriously? That fcker screwed over one Bat related character already, so shove him in a box and bury him already. He doesn't look like Alucard in any way.

Hiddleston as Alucard? Now that's perfection. He's got the bodyframe, he's got the face, the hair, the acting chops and he has an INCREDIBLY expressive face. All the things needed to be Alucard.

Punching Trolls in the face like Buzz Aldrin!

If this yet another stupid voice complaint, That was in no way Christian Bales fault. and what the fck do you mean 'screwed' him over, He was perfect as Bruce/Batman.

Did you watch anime at all? Read manga? Alucard (except the youngest appearance of him as a boy looking like a girl) does not have beautiful or baby looking face. His voice is deep and he gets into the category of characters as Alexander Anderson (not Heinkel Wolfe).

Now, alike of you, I have nothing against Tom Hiddleston. With some good make-up, meybe, he could pull it off, but now, after we saw him, as vampire, in another movie, I'm even more convinced he wouldn't make good Alucard. Not even Luke Evans pulled it good enough for me in the latest Dracula movie. And I like Luke Evans a lot.

Maybe Bale is not perfect guy for it but I'm thrilled what he did with Batman. It's the first and probably the last Batman I enjoyed watching.
