For all Italians and all the people in the world who have the possibility to watch the first Italian public channel, Sunday night Rai Uno will show this much much much much awaited, and also very much hyped (in Italy, at least), TV adaptation of the wonderful Russian classic.

yeah it looks like he's the only one they call when it comes the time of adapting a novel
but i gotta say (i watched it on rai uno yesterday) i didnt like him at the beginning but as time went on.. i found him playin very good and his prince Andreij is just charming...
I watched the first episode and I'm gonna watch the others, it's not bad. I've read the book so a TV adaptation could never satisfy me, the novel has much more to say than the simple story of a group of Russian families in the early 1800s. Yes, in the beginning is a bit confusing, then it's better.
