I went to the artpopdvd.com website which appears to be the only site to buy this DVD. I saw clips of this movie on youtube and they were all in English but I can't tell that this DVD will also be in english. It says it has Russian subtitles so I can assume that it is in English but assuming isn't knowing. I don't really care to shell out $30 plus shipping unless I know, esp. since I haven't seen the movie yet. I was wondering if anyone had ordered it and if it played on their region 1 player and was in English?

If you mean this site and DVD - http://www.artpopdvd.com/DVD/48150.aspx,
then, yes, the DVD has English language track and no subtitles at all, as they've said.

And no Region protection (Region 0 - All Regions),
but the sistem is PAL - if your player can manage that, then OK.

Very expensive, though.
