Happier Ending than the book

I'm not sure I like the way the ending wraps things up with a neat little bow and says they all lived happily ever after. That is not what happened to the most virtuous character in the book.

And of course, in the book Prince Andrei's son is clearly going to get himself wrapped up in the unsuccessful Decembrist revolt because he overheard Pierre's remark about his Father...
