Bad English title
I understand that the film has been released outside Denmark as "The Art of Crying". I find this is a poor translation of the original title, which literally should be "The Art Of Crying In Chorus". I too would have said that "crying in chorus" is not a proper English expression, but I googled it and got 3290 hits, so it might not be that odd. The title refers to the fathers ability to give funeral orations that makes the whole congregation crying. That's the art, not the crying.
And is crying the best translation of "græde"? Wouldn't weep have been a better word, isn't there a connotation about crying in solitude, and weeping with others, so you can get both the punch-line effect and the better translation by "The Art of Weeping"?
