Loved It!

Hi everyone

I'm not a massive fan of Indian comedies but picked this up at my local DVD shop.

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised... I thought it was completely hilarious. Great comedic acting from all of the main protagonists... I'm not really into slapstick humour but Golmaal managed to combine physical and linguistic comedy very well...

My favourite scenes / lines:

1)when Dada-ji (Paresh Rawal) asks Gopal (Ajay Devgan) whether he is Sameer, and he answers 'Nahin, main Ajay Devgan hun';

2) at the end, when dadi-ji says 'Aur aap log yeh andhe mata-pita ke Shravan banoge' and they all reply 'aur Nadeem bhi!'

3) the 'rape' scene;

4) when Madhav (Arshad Warsi) says 'yeh to woh sidi wali ladki hai' and Gopal (Ajay Devgan) answers: 'Kya iski bhi CD nikli hai kya?'; and

5) 'Vande Mataram!'

I laughed out loud at many moments in the film and by the end, was really sad to see it finish! It put me in a good mood all evening... Can't wait for the sequel!
