Director's Cut?

Is anyone familiar with differences between the episode as aired on BBC America and the episode available through On Demand (aside from commercials)?

Hi Theora23

While I haven't yet had a chance to see it (I taped it after watching the shorter version on BBC America) there are a couple of things that I can let you know. First, the On Demand version contains about 15 minutes more of the story so it will definitely be worth seeing if you have access to it. Second, I don't know how long they have been doing this but BBC Am has been offering a few (though not all) of their new programs via this service. Most notably the recent, excellent series "Life on Mars'.

There are two big benefits to taking advantage of this feature. First. there are NO commercials (like all On Demand programming you can stop the show and resume it at your pleasure). Second, as described above, you get more scenes and they usually flesh out and enhance the story immensely.

I hope that this is of some help and I can highly recommend going ahead and accessing this feature of your cable if you have it. Oh and I forgot to mention that this program was free (some on Demand stuff costs)

Good luck and cheers

I'll make a good Gordon, Gordon!

I do have access, I just wondered if it would be worth it to watch the show again if there was not much difference to the story.
