question about the girl

Did she just join up with him because she wanted to die? Was she really that messed up? I guess so...since she did end up committing suicide. Poor Eric, he didn't want to kill anyone, but she wanted him to. However, I don't blame him for taking that hammer and makeshift rope and thinking about killing her. She was extremely annoying and I don't get why he chose to keep her with him.

In the book she had a "fixation" on him and so she sought him out. Yes, she was messed up in a lot of ways. Neglected, used, and confused (hey that rhymes). It's debatable wether she commited suicide or not.

'Poor Eric' was a murdering psycopath who killed not because he was egged on by Lori but to fullfill his sexual gratification and the "tenderness" he found when he killed girls, particularly ones with dark hair. Lori was a contrast to this fixation of his and she brought about feelings that confused him.

Lori being annoying is opinion, but jeez, you really wanted him to kill her? That's a bit extreme and scary. 0_0

..your dead end dreams don't make you =)

You could even say that's the reasoning of a psychopath.
