There is a movie. It was made in 2004 before the series. The girl who played Asumi Oikawa in the TV Dorama was Aya Kito in the Movie. The Asumi's mother was the same Woman who played her mother in the Movie version. It was a Nice Cameo appearance by both of them in the TV Series. The movie is closer to what actually happened.
