Ok, I might have missed something - but I don't think so.
When the guy is chained up, he's there for ages until the girl comes and rescues him ... by simply undoing his shackles.
Question is, why didn't he just undo them himself?

You think you had it bad though - here in Taiwan, the cover of the movie has been changed and is instead called ...... "The Hills Have Eyes"
Even more amusingly, my friend had told me about THHE before and said it was a sick movie, so I had no reason to suspect I was watching the wrong movie (as the opening scene or so had the axe and knife attacks) - I just couldn't understand why he thought it was good ...... :D lol
