I know back in day cousins married each other but in this day in age it is so absurd and disturbing and it is incest. That is your mother or father sibling's child and plus you almost have the same blood and DNA. You must not have watched the entire movie....she flirts with him and makes nasty comments and people call her on it and at the end cylde ask her to dance and she says "fool we cousins thats nasty....." I think Betty is just a crazy character is all....
