Vivah is the worst movie to come along in mainstream cinema in years!

NOTHING, I REPEAT, NOTHING, happens in Vivah. It's that, frigging, BAD!

BAD! Its the worst movie I have seen in years, its that, that, bad. I personally think Shahid was out of his mind to do a movie THIS BAD!

SCRIPT? You're all boasting about script. WHAT SCRIPT! It has no story, its damn, damn boring, and nothing changes throughout the movie! It should have flopped, its such a goddamn boring movie.

Nothing, at all, happens. Atleast KANK had a story,

I mean, Vivah: Girl Meets Guy. Lotsa bad lines get passed around. Girl's Aunti-Ji gets mad. Girl Meets Fire. Fire burns girl. Lotsa melo-drama. Guy finally marries girl, then he has to apply her cream in a stunning, end of the movie climax! :O

B-A-D and L-A-M-E!

WELL UR WRONG AS THE MOVIE HAS BECOME A SUPER HIT IN INDIA!!

reply

dude..

just because a movie is a superhit doesn't mean its a good movie...we have seen some real good ones flop..

put plainly, a majority of the indian audience has bad movie taste...sad fact.

reply

Fact?
Wheres that source then?

If majority liked it along with the critics, but you hated it...how did you get so special as to think the others are wrong and you must be right?

I like Vivah, but I'm not gonna shove my opinion down others throats by capitalizing all my words and giving a horribly put together synopsis. I'm not a critic, I don't have a license to do that. You can think what you want, just respect others opinions.

reply

CHILLLL JAGMAN08.

Vivah IS A SUPER HIT & a ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER IN BIHAR.

YOU WANT THE SOURCE? HERE IT IS - BOXOFFICEINDIA.COM

And also INDIAFM PEOPLES VERDICT HAS GIVEN IT AN AVERAGE RATING OF 4.5 OUT OF 5, 500 people voted.

I'n NOT SHOVING my opinion down peoples THROATS!! I'm saying that don't call ANY MOVIE YOU WANT THE WORST.

Say its bad, BUT SAYING ITS WORST IS GOING OVERBOEARD as there are WORSE films, thats why I got angry at the poster of this topic.

Earlier this year KANK came out - people post threads sayin , KANK is the worst movie ever made in bollywood.

Then Dhoom 2 came out - people post - this is the worst movie ever made.

THEY MAY BE BAD (I liked KANK, VIvah) but thy're NOT the worst!!

reply

No!

I was talking to gopinathdeepak

He said that indian people have bad taste in movies and its a fact.

I'm on your side...

reply

OH.....DEEP apologies Jagman08

I got confused, sorry again.

I liked the movie, it is quite good movie, Its about love, care and responsiblity. Only thing you need to have some patience to watch this.

Every one has its own likes and dislikes.

In nutshell I think those ppl have gone through these phases on life metting someone and then getting married will like this movie.

I just got through watching this movie. It took me two attempts to watch it. I fell asleep watching it the first time, and the other time all I could think about was that I have to get a haircut--the movie is boring.

The script SUCKS, i mean the dialogs are horrible. Its like this movie is a throwback to the early 90's. The director should know that the times have changed, and he should change with times as well.

Regardless of whether the movie was a hit, it is weak it too many areas.

Personally speaking, this move was below-average. I sat there after 2 hours thinking alright maybe now the pace will pick up a little bit, but holy *beep* this movie felt like it took 5 hours before something happened. My brother, my dad, and me quit watching the game and started a chess game. I had to watch the chess game and *beep* that was more fun than the movie. Only mom liked it so ima guess all the ladies promoted this movie. 3 words to describe this movie: Way TOOOOOOOOO CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

This movie was so boring. The climax of the story doesn't even reach until near the end.The plot was so slow. And why was Amrita acting so stupid. When she finally meets Shahid she hardly says a word to him & agrees to marry him w/out even knowing him.Who does that?In this day and age people don't make such an important decision in 2 minutes. On top of that she was acting so shy around him.How can you be so timid around the guy you're suppose to marry. It wasn't until late in the movie where she has a normal conversation with him. They made Amrita out to be some poor, stupid girl. They could have made her more educated,talkative-well her whole character could have been more developed.I think she is a good actress but she didn't deliver a good performance. The only thing I enjoyed in this movie were the songs.

I agree 100% with the above 3 posters. Me and my mom nearly fainted after thinking we watched a 4 hour film (it felt like that), and we were hardly on the edge of our seats from beginning to end. Not to mention dialogue sucked.

its been a while since i posted here. its amusing to see the response though :))..

looks like i really hurt Jagman's feelings..

this is public message board..i can write here what I please..

No one needs a "license" to do that man! chill!!

I am not a critic, but I watch a whole lot of movies...and I trust my judgement of good and bad movies...

Vivah was a hogwash..

this is my opinion...i dont intend to shove it down anyones throats or other unmentionables..

I thought that was a given, since this is a messageboard and all...I am not a Swami...do Not take my words as the word of God!!

reply

There was nothing good about this movie.Lucky it's a Bollywood movie b/c if they made a movie like that in Hollywood it would choke at the box office.

reply

lots of my family liked it...but i simply hated it! im not saying it was a bad movie so please dont all jump at my throat..just not my type of movie.however i thought amrita acted the part well...i prefer movies that have more going on,..vivah was too plain and simple for me....once again this is just my opinion ..not meaning 2 anger anyone

I really liked this movie. It's actually one of my favorites, but hey some will like it and some won't. That's how it is and it's fine. For me there just something soft and lovely about it and I like it!

reply

Okay, I am A huge huge huge fan of Amrita Rao and I hated this movie! It almost put me to sleep and I tried to watch it twice. Nothing happened in it and it felt like watching a 5 hour movie.

I think this movie is made for those viewers who go to a movie just to see the "mushy" parts. Its perfect for people who likes to see the happy sides of life (only)!. I noticed when my parents watched it they were bored out of their minds! they were waiting for the "bad" part, when everything goes wrong. Personally I LOVED IT because I can truely relate to the movie ;-). I Loved it loved it loved it!!!!!! It touches your heart but it's not for those who are thrill seekers.. obviously.
