It is because she was shown to be the SWEET OBEDIENT girl, you morons.
She had no parents. These people weren't too rich either.
I loved her character. Learn from her!
I love James Marsden wiff a burning passion
After seeing Amrita in Welcome to Sajjanpur, I was SO disppointed with this film. However sweet and obedient you are, you can still talk. Talking and obedience aren't mutually exclusive traits. The girl was a complete blank slate. I don't understand how any man could find someone with no will or ability for self determination (the most basic quality that separates humans from chimps) attractive. Amrita Rao is gorgeous and talented, but she was really wasted in this one.
shareokay, now I agree with you.
Ooh, Mr. Todd!*kiss*
I'm so happy!*kiss*
I could*kiss*
Eat you up,I really could!
it was cute for awhile, after that it got annoying because he was putting so much effort to even get her to talk. In a way, I can understand, i'm quite shy myself...she didn't come of as dumb to me, but a little selfish because she told Chholi she would not speak verbally to Prem, only 'sign language', which I think she meant to say 'body language' or like it.
shareIt is just a movie! Duh. Every character is different what they play in many movies. In real life Amrita is not acting like that as shy, quiet, talk whispering, etc. Movie is different from real life in person. Hello! Duh.
