showing new episodes?

I still had the show saved on my DVR and it has 2 episodes this week that the small descriptions did not sound familiar.

Are they finally showing the last episodes that they already taped? maybe there is a little hope then

ABC is airing whats left of the 13 episode run. After these episodes are done airing, the show will be gone for good. :(

I'm watching the second episode, because I missed the first, and there is no dialogye sound, just the background stuff (music/bar sounds) and secondary sounds like the saws cutting through the wall, some footsteps, not all, and then the radio in the cab. Anybody else watching in HD have this problem?

I've just read that ABC has yanked Knights of Prosperity from their schedule again. I believe there were just two episodes left, but they've decided it makes more sense to air repeats of According to Jim--which BTW they cancelled, had a series finale, and then decided to bring back again!

I know. It's just disgusting to me. OF COURSE it had low ratings again -- ABC did nothing to promote that it was airing the episodes. The same goes for The Nine, which they also yanked again (though it probably suffered even more because by the time they decided to re-air it, I'd bet that most fans had already forgotten what happened in the first episodes).

I watched the According to Jim that was sandwiched between the two Knights episodes (I get flack for constantly bagging on it, so I decided to see if maybe I was wrong) -- and it perfectly encapsulated why I hate the show. The plot? Jim hates going to cultural events with his wife, so he finds her a gay buddy to do that stuff. But when gay buddy gets too depressed because his boyfriend dumped him to do stuff with the wife, Jim pretends to be gay to help get the boyfriend back.

Wow. That *might* have been amusing back in say, 1992, but now? Are you kidding me? It's just appaling that ABC brings it back for a *SEVENTH* season, but hardly gave Knights a chance. I just hope it comes out on DVD.

ABC is horrible. Really horrible. Does anyone know if we even get to see the series finale with how they rob Ray Romano?

reply

WTFrack!
last week my tivo said there would be 1 more episode this week, but my season pass canceled this weeks episode because ABC decided that screwing the cast and crew once was not sufficient enough
they yanked the last episode for a rerun of According to jim. ABC, I will not be "Starting Here" for my tv viewing as their lame new ad campaign says
Donal, any word on why this new round of harsh treatment came to be, or can we assume it's just business as usual at the Mouse?

If anyone wants to email ABC, here is their contact link:

any chance abc.com will be showing the 2 remaining eps???

I just saw at their website that Knights is not available anymore to watch in their Full Episode Player. New development cause you could watch them as of last week. Stupid ABC.
