I missed most of the movie...
Is John Walters the obsessive psycho guy? And is it just because he really likes/loves her, or is there some other reason.

Well I saw a couple hours of it (and didn't really understand it...), but what I understood was that, as a child, the psycho guy was a victim of incest from his aunt... and the girl looked just like his aunt... so he wanted to... love her? I don't even know lol, that's what I got.
