Guest House Films announces 'Long-Term Relationship'

NEW INDIE GAY ROMANTIC COMEDY, LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP, STAYING AT GUEST HOUSE FILMS LLC

LOS ANGELES – Guest House Films LLC, an independent motion picture production company, is proud to announce the upcoming production of its inaugural film, Long-Term Relationship. The first feature from writer/director Rob Williams, Long-Term Relationship is a romantic comedy that explores the many serious and absurd challenges faced by two gay men as they start a new romance.

The film tackles political issues, sexual compatibility and the intense pressure and scrutiny that any new couple – gay or straight – faces from their friends. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in January 2006 in the greater Los Angeles area. More information can be found at the company’s web site, www.GuestHouseFilms.com.

Long-Term Relationship will star Matthew Montgomery (from the festival and DVD hit film, Gone, But Not Forgotten), newcomer Windham Beacham, Chuti Tiu (Beautiful), Artie O'Daly ("Strong Medicine"), Joel Bryant (Matrimonium), Joe Bratcher (The Howling), Judy Farrell (“Fame,” “M*A*S*H”) and adult film star Bret Wolfe (Wet Palms). In addition, the film will feature songs from singer/songwriter Jamie Coon.

Guest House Films LLC was established in 2005 by Williams and partner Rodney Johnson as a way to create unique films for genre markets.

“Gay film audiences are very demanding yet also extremely appreciative of movies that reflect the struggles they face every day,” said Williams. “With Long-Term Relationship, we aim to create an intelligent film about real relationship issues that manages to be both very romantic and extremely funny. I believe the audience will be able to identify with the characters and their desire to sustain a long-term relationship.”

The film will be produced by Rob Williams and co-produced by Rodney Johnson and Matthew Montgomery.
