I never really thought the H3 graphics were impressive.

There are some quite outstanding vistas, but it's also about the dynamics.
Like Gears, it might be prettier to some eyes (even if it's so monotonic) but the gameworld is so static and 2 dimensional.

Well, in the film mode, if you pause something and view from all angles and proximities, it is incredible how the detail changes, but every shot comes from about a foot above the gun barrel.

black and white movies were better

Although the graphics aren't exactly realistic, I really enjoyed the art design and direction they went with the look of the entire game.

I'll never understand how anyone can say that Halo 3's graphics are sub par and keep a straight face. Just further proof that Halo is held to way higher standards than most games.
