Canada eh?

This is a Canadian movie, shot in Guelph Ontario. It was subsidized by the Ontario government with tax credits. Then WHY are there AMERICAN flags and AMERICAN cops. This is yet another disgraceful, demeaning example of the bootlicking Canadian film industry's pandering to the American market. Has anyone seriously considered setting a story like this in Canada? Americans watch films set in London, Paris, Tokyo, wherever. Why do we assume they will reject one set in Toronto? Or Guelph? This is NOT the way to build a Canadian movie industry. It's pitiful and craven!

Agreed, rps-2, a definite lack of self-confidence in the Canadian movie industry.
