Not a horrible movie but HORRIBLE ACTING!

The Christian cult people were soo freaking unbelievable, soo overacted! The black dude and the bald dude were sooo bad! I rolled my eyes everytime they talked. The movie had some decent scenes and gore, but still not a very good horror film. It could have better acting, script, and it could have feel more terrifying and not so fake. Wasted oportunity here. 4.5/10.

The cultists were drugged.

Just about everyone in the whole damn movie cannot act! Totally ruined it for me.

The acting was deplorable, there is no question about that.
In the film's defense, however, keep in mind that it was made for only $200,000 CAN, and I am sure that, unlike bigger-budget films, they did not have the luxury of shooting take after take after take.
I thought the movie as a whole was quite weak, until I saw the production cost. For that little money, I think they put out a pretty decent final product.

I seriously don't get this complaint. Yes, some of the cult members were overacting, but that made them some really memorable horror movie villains imo.
