Reminded me a bit of "Me and You and Everyone We Know". And it's been compared to "Napolean Dynamite", but you've probably seen that.

Ditto that. Science of Sleep is brilliant!

If you like the humour of Eagle Vs Shark you might enjoy the tv series Flight of the Concords. It is an acquired taste though.

If you like something a bit quirky you might also enjoy Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless mind or the French film Amelie.

I watched Taika's latest film "Boy" on the flight back home from NZ and thought it was freakin' hilarious! You should check it out

From across the ditch, an Aussie misfit TV series, Wilfred, is hilarious. We have the best Aussie TV channel SBS which shows all the quirky stuff like Conchord, Eagle Vs Shark. Another NZ TV series about similar people is Outrageous Fortune it's sort of growing on me.

Yeah SBS show the best shows on free to air. I love Outrageous Fortune! Loretta is my favourite because I relate to her the most Sneaky little bugger.

I love this film too! Not such a fan of Outrageous Fortune (first and second seasons were funny but then it kind of lost me) but LOVE the Flight of the Conchords.

Maybe filmwise...

'Boy' by Taika Waititi

'Rushmore' by Wes Anderson

Perhaps even 'Orange County' ?

I dunno... tricky.
