THE (90´s) COMPUTER SCENE

I don´t know what is funnier, if all the porno happearing on screen or the best ( and probably only ) computer hacker in town still be some kind of 20ths something still entering in puberty. Not the "tipical" geek, his room probably didn´t change a bit since childhood ( wallpaper, the bunk bed ( maybe he shares the room with younger brother) and hot girl magazine photo ). It was damn funny that he was a "proclameid" hacker and only had a piece of *beep* PC from the middle 90´s, with a slow dial-up modem, 15" CRT and Win95 operative system ( with dos shell window open ). We have a hint that the story happens nowadays ( they were going to see Wolverine with Hugh Jackman at the cinema ), but technology seemed very dated ( the 16 bit fighting console game ), I don´t know if it has a propose in the history or the film happens in our present times and is put to good akward effect.

Loved the movie and will buy it

That's just New Zealand. All technology in New Zealand is from 20 years ago. The Matrix just recently came out on VHS there.

Clothes too... most of the characters are dressed 90-ish enough to be rated as hipsters these days :)

And cars! Especially that reckless bitch in a Trans-Am.

I couldnt figure out if the outdated equipment was an intentional joke or it was because New Zealanders are behind the times.
