What a hateful daughter

I am shocked this is a Hallmark movie. I have never seen such a mean, bitter bunch of women. Why is everything the dad's fault? They are the ones who refused to invite him to the wedding or inform him about their fertility issues or the surrogate pregnancy. No one is perfect including them. I lost my dad three years ago, and it makes me damn angry that they treat their father that way. My dad wasn't perfect but I would give anything to have him around. I would really love to talk to whoever wrote this horrible movie!

Not to mention the good for nothing neighbor/father in-law/lover gives the dad booze and cigarettes knowing he just had a heart attack. If I were the dad I would run from this bunch and never look back. What a dysfunctional group of folks.

The dad willingly chose to leave his family...how else are they expected to feel? The oldest daughter was angry and bitter...the youngest daughter not so much...and the wife was guarded and reserved...hell, look what her husband did....ran off from his responsibility...although they weren't divorced, HE did show some kindness by paying "alimony".....
