First, "There is NOTHING that isn't typical sitcom idoicy. He starts to get near the girl he likes, and then the hot new sub shows up and destroys the moment. Yeah sure, how many millions of times have we seen this in the last 60 years. How about this:
He gets near the girl he really likes AND NO ONE SHOWS UP TO DESTROY THE MOMENT??!! Wow, now there's a concept. REALITY! "
That's not reality. Not for most people anyway. Things ALWAYS get in the way of relationships, and it's pretty rare when things aren't destroyed or ruined or awkward or something otherwise uncomfortable.
Second, "The show pretty much sucks. It COULD be funny but they have decided to take the safe corporate way and aim it at the lowest common denominator. Trailer Parks." Offensive, much?
And, yeah. The show could've been more well written, and i would've liked to see more interaction with the students to make it more realistic, but it was good for a few laughs and a bit of interest.
And the actors were great. If you want to complain about the writing, that's fine. Write your own shows, submit it to a network and see how well it's recieved.
I don't really understand why you complain about what you're watching. If you don't like it, turn it off. It's cancelled now, so what's the point in making fun of it?
