Am I the Only One?

Seriously, am I the only person who totally loved this show? Damn, it wasn't as bad as everyone's making it out to be!

no, i loved it too. im disappointed they canceled it.

Disappointment doesn't begin to cover it. Pissed off completely comes a little bit closer.

I liked it. I'm surprised it was canceled.

reply

I realy realy loved it (and I've no idea why. I SHOULD have hated it: it's not the kind of show I like.).

reply

I completely agree with you guys. They never promote shows and give them a chance. When I saw the first episode I thought it was a show I would still be watching routinely 7 years down the road - it had all the makings of a hit that would keep my interest. I love Bartha, and the supporting cast was perfect. Really missed opportunity.

reply

I know, this, The Class, and Four Kings were all great shows that were never really publicized or promoted enough and therfore were cancelled almost immediately. It sucks.

reply

Agreed. I never saw a "Teachers" advertisement on NBC. I'm not even sure how I found the show, lol.

Thank God for youtube.

reply

I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite or the greatest show... very entertaining and enjoyable though. Something about the show reminds me of "The Class", which is on CBS now. Not quite sure what it is... just the overall atmosphere of the show or something.

reply

You're really not...I thought it was great, and I hated where they left off.

reply

I thought this show was frickin' hilarious. I had never seen a Scrubs-esque take on teaching. I am going to be a teacher, so I wanted to have something to have fun with and potentially relate to

reply

i agree this show was funny
i liked it!

reply

yeah i know!! i just re-watched the 6 episodes...and i really wish there was another season...thats what sucks about networks nowadays...if it's not the occasional grey's success...they throw it away.

reply

i watch the 6 episodes all the time there great justin is hillarious and lovable i wish they would bring this show back

reply

I thought it was alright the first ep, but it was when i kept watching more and more that i started to really like it. Like someone else said in this thread, if something doesn't have immeadiate success nowadays they cancel it. TV shows that are seen to be now as amazing once started out where Teachers was--smaller shows that could have gone far if given the chance. I think it had a chance to do something, but unfortunately never got the oppurtunity.

only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go

i no, i thought i was extremely good, n they cancelled it. Probly cuz no one had ever heard of Justin Bartha by that point. They only new him as Riley Poole (who is awesome in himself). I will bet u 5 bucks that show would've gotten a lot of success. Look at Scrubs. Not a lot of people new about it till a bit later, n it's one of the most hilarious shows on TV. I think Teachers wood've had the same success.

Crazy? Cuz last time i checked, we make our LIVING off crazy.-Riley Poole

reply

I agree. If it had been given a chance, it would've gone so much farther.
I really did enjoy the first six episodes and had hopes for it.
Three hours of Justin Bartha and an amusing yet realish show is totally worth watching. I'd buy it if i could find it, but for now i settle on YouTube.
