favorite character?

I was just wondering who everyone enjoyed watching most?

I was really impressed with newcomer Rick Sam's performance as "Colin". He is a real natural and goodlooking too! Yes, I admit I have a crush ;) Can't wait to see him in some other productions!

I also really liked the old guy from the casino...he was so cute when he won the money and was going back to his car.

I really hope they do some more with this. Everyone I have spoken with thought it was very good (although some weinies said it was too violent) and would really like to see more!

I really enjoyed all the performances by Byron Mann, Lawrence Chou, Simon Wong, Jean Yoon, Ysi Mah (?), Christina Mah, & Steph Song. *Phew* Long list...that's how great the acting was in this film.

I think it's a decent movie that's worthy of recognition in that it's the first of it's kind. It's a bit slow at first but it definitely picks up steam by the end of part 1. I wouldn't say the acting was bad but with few exceptions (Eric Tsang being one of them whom has acted in countless HK movies, triad or other genres), the acting overall couldn't make me shake off the feeling that this was a made for TV movie. This could possibly be attributed to the settings/locations which looked very boring. While the movie was billed as violent, I actually found some of the violent scenes to be not very convincing but maybe that's due to having watched a lot of HK action flicks and expecting too much in that department.

The plots were pretty interesting and they were juggled well. I'd say Jason was my favorite character because he seemed to be the most real and easy to relate to even though he's absent for almost all of part 2. The actors who play his parents were also very good. I admit I wasn't too impressed at first with both Tommy and Movie Star since they seemed very stereotypical but they were pretty good in part 2.

My favorite character is Lawrence Chou's "Movie Star"! I so dig his style!

Byron Mann's cool too.
