Low Rating? Christian Right-Wind Nutbags Downvoted It!

I gave this movie a ten. I've seen it and it's maybe an 7 or a 8 on the kid's movie scale, but I'd definitely say that it's bull that Christian conservative nutbags are so angry this movie has a female priestess that they had to make an online downvoting scheme to make it happen. Very, very sad. I hope my 10/10 vote does something to re-balance it, and you should also.

I'm both Christian and fairly right-wing. I'm not out to "get" this movie.

I liked most of it. But to be fair, as a huge devotee of the books, I found a few things lacking, as I do with most adaptations. Nothing to do with the conspiracy you're peddling.

By the way, my church has female pastors. So don't color all Christians with one big stereotype please.

I have no idea if there's anything to that, but it would be interesting to know why 10% of voters gave it a 1. No-one who actually saw it would, unless they had a specific agenda. Comparisons to some book series are totally irrelevant: this is a MOVIE, and an excellent one at that! Joey's acting alone is worth at least a 6. It's annoying IMDb downgraded the '10' votes (over 30%), but used the '1's in their fake average, when they should have been ignored.

I would disagree with you and tend think it would be the Lefties voting it down, because if a movie like this is voted and received well kind of screws up their that is not what Americans want in movies doesn't it?

Hollywood and lefties are against family values, clean movies and anything remotely having morals.

So had this movie had a flaming homosexual in it who performed the ceremony THEN i might agree with you, but based on the movie, and hollywood and what lefties think we want, i am going with (if you can even call conspiracy in a kids movie *RME*) ITS the lefties anti-Christians, anti-morals, anti-family voting it down.

"Lefties" as you call them are far more family oriented (as in HEALTHY families - not brainwashed little religious home schooled nutjobs) and far more moral than any right wing Christian currently breathing on the planet.

There's certainly NOTHING moral about the blood soaked, slave owner's manual called The Bible and Christianity is one of the most IMMORAL and hatemongering cults to ever plague humankind.

This is the stupidest thing I have read in a long, long time. Wow.

I've heard some crazy theories on these boards before, but this one makes stuff happening on The Conspirator board look completely sane...

Don't you think that most "Christian Right-Wind Nutbags," as you call them, have more important things on their minds than the rating that Ramona and Beezus has on IMDb? I mean, do you think their biggest issues are abortion, gay marriage, and... female ministers in walk-on roles in G-rated film adaptations? Let's get some perspective here...

If you spent any time on this board or listening to the comments you'd clearly see I was right. Duh. People don't have a reason to downvote this otherwise.

Is this a joke topic? I highly doubt there is that many 'Christian Right-Wind Nutbags' that actually care about that silly tradition or this film of all things to downvote this in mass. I think you might be the nut here.
