The part where Ramona runs away

I was watching this with my niece the other day, and (spoiler alert) when the parents find out she runs away, and then find her at the bus stop, they all start loving up on her and start apologizing to her. I don't know if that's how any family would react to finding their runaway child, but I'm sure that if I had run away like that, my parents would probably whoop my butt instead of saying "sorry for yelling at you."
