The Comic

Now, I'm not saying anything about the movie. But WHY would you make a movie about a comic that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMIC. Now the comic is ridiculously awesome. A secret society of assassins (this movie) is boring, but the comic is about a secret society of super villains. A lot of them. In an alternate reality they created after they teamed up and killed all the super heroes. Doesn't that sound like a way better movie ? What idiot thought it would be a good idea to take out of the core concept of the comic and turn what's left into a movie ?
