Every thing in this movie can be explained rationally, except one thing.

Tom Arnold in the beginning knowing about the closet behind the cross. That should not have been in the movie. They were obviously trying to make it one of those movies that could go either way but that scene really ruined it. With that scene included, nothing but a supernatural explanation makes sense.
