What? We are supposed to figure that out from the scar and her comment about being half a person? That's extremely far-fetched. I thought she meant she'd given away a baby, which is far more plausible for a young girl working in the sex trade. To say she felt like half a person and that she couldn't stop thinking about her makes sense in that regard. It's not that common to have conjoined twins. And for her to have a scar while working in they industry practically locked in a cage didn't seem so odd to me. I assumed at some point she'd been beatend horribly or burned. This is a case of "when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras."
Do we see the other twin in the story? I'm confused about the girl who fell then the girl who was given the necklace who had the head and neck brace, if you call it that. She couldn't get the necklace on. Is she the same girl and doesn't remember it or another girl? Is she the girl show fell? I thought she had blonde hair, but the girl who fell had dark hair like the girl he saved. I really don't know who anyone is supposed to be in this film regarding these particular girls and now these conjoined twins mentioned here.
