Live down at the Jersey Shore (2 towns over from Lavallete) when this film was being shot. Was supposed to be an extra, but weather inclimates insued. Looks really promising and can't wait to watch, it's about time Jersey it's 5 mins of fame...

I hate to say this but the movie is awful. It seems like a made for TV movie aimed at 12 year old girls to be honest

If you hate to say it, why do you keep knocking it? This isn't your first negative comment and, while you're entitled to your opinion, repeated comments like this are just trolling. The film has won over 20 awards at festivals - I guess you're the only real critic out there.
Suck it up and sock it to 'em...

I saw the trailer for this on Ch 12's Pet Stop of all places. I was intrigued, and when I saw the shot of the characters on a boardwalk, with Seaside Heights beyond them, I figured it was filmed in Lava or Ortley.

Looks like a great story, and I'm definitely going to make it to the theater to see this one.

Despite what a couple of naysayers at this forum have said, the reviews posted here by others are quite positive.

I chuckled at the reviewers comments about how they didn't know Jersey was so beautiful. Despite the fact that the rest of the country thinks it's an industrial dump, NJ actually does actually have some great beaches.
