WB hasn't learned their lesson

Dukes of Hazzard, Starsky & Hutch, the Wild, Wild West. All are classic television shows that have strong fan bases. All WB movies which were vanity projects. All bombs.

The WB has *not* learned their lesson. No shock considering these are the same dip sh!ts who make the so-called DC CU movies.

Starsky and Hutch was hilarious and Wild Wild West was a guilty pleasure. I find it kind of interesting though that Warner Bros did Man from Uncle but yet didn't make it into a comedy and it respected the show.

Which was the problem.

... and not good.

I find it kind of interesting though that Warner Bros did Man from Uncle but yet didn't make it into a comedy and it respected the show.

That had a terrible soundtrack and was marketed as a comedy.

reply

Yes,but Man from Uncle didn't feel like a comedy. It felt like a true spy movie with funny parts in it.

reply

Starsky & Hutch didn't bomb, it grossed almost three times its production budget.

reply

OK S&H did not bomb but it did not gross 3 x any thing. It under performed for a modest profit.
