We need some new decent vampire flicks that aren't Underworld or Blade...

I hope to god this thing doesn't suck, but I have a feeling it will.

I'm looking forward to it - I haven't seen any new vampire flicks in a while..the last one I hired was a complete disappointment (nice cover *beep* movie)

Same here, Tw3nt. Some real weak material has been hitting the DTV shelves lately. But this one has Sid Haig and Ken Foree, and I know those two can make anything enjoyable, so I have confidence I'll like this one. Victoria Pratt is a good actress, too. (Yeah I admit it, "Cleopatra 2525" was a guilty pleasure of mine...)

Anyone hear anything on when we'll get to see this?

All I know is it's set for release this year limited theatrical release and that the official site will launch very shortly.

And I totally agree Sid Haig and Ken Foree are awesome, I loved DRJ.

I was excited to see this (came from the Dawn of the Dead page via Ken Foree), but I looked that the writer/directors' previous works and... oh well, strong possibility of awful film ahead, which would be a real shame.

I hate to generalize...but i will.
I totally agree with the OP - however this probably wont be it.
These guys wrote for Uwe Boll, multiple times.

Unfortunately Samb is correct. I should have known better when I saw Roesch and Scheerer's names on this. They are bad horror hacks just from long association with Uwe Boll. This movie does nothing to make me think they have any actual talent. Even forgetting the horrible production values, the storyline is a cliched amalgam of a hundred other vampire stories horror fans have seen and heard many times before. I really wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn't...

it blows, don't bother. Honestly, I've now watched three of the ghost house international flicks and this blew so much compared to the other two. Low budget should NOT mean bad direction. Still scratching my head over why this was included in the set.

Seriously....it's like it's impossible to direct a vampire movie. Maybe we should just stick to reading vampire books.

Saying that though...I couldn't finish it as a film so I'm glad it was never a book.
