Can't find anything like it on imdb. And, what is the point? Its being categorized as a kids, G-rated thing, so what updated tales might these be?

It is a group of chapters that are broken up and made into segments of one big storyline. Segments include: "How Brer Rabbit Tricked Brer Bear", "How Animals Came To Earth", and "Brer Rabbit and the Party". Um... I don't think its the greatest thing ever, but hey... here's the whole purpose:

A girl named Janey is feeling rejected in her home, so she decides to go out and play. She meets a turtle, but not an ordinary turtle... its Brer Turtle (Danny Glover). Beside the turtle and the girl is the escapade of a rabbit and a fox. Brer Rabbit tricks Brer Fox, which leads unto the Turtle telling many of the adventures of Brer Rabbit, Brer Turtle, Brer Fox, Brer Wolf, and many more!
