Well, I ould have to say both, the girl's mum at our dancing school is almost as bad the Mum. e just had comps, and I tell you what I think she starting to relise the she isn't liked. :s (what comps do you do)

Oh yeah the stage mothers. We had this girl in my dance school who had been dancing since she could walk and her mother wanted her to be a star because she fell pregnant when she was in her prime. Her parents split up in the end and the mother moved her to Sydney at age 13 to 'be a star.'
shareThe Mum at our dancing school if her daughter doesn't win, then there is always an excuse. eg: sore foot, not feeling well stuff like that. I hate it, why cant they just accept that they lost fair and square.

Then, yes there is.
And not just dancing schools either. Example - the Tennis Parents who make their kids spend every waking hour practicing the serve. Or the parents who enrol their kids in every single choir they can possibly join. Not even the classroom is free - i know of 8 year old kids who go to kumon and do 5 hours of homework a day.
