The Pity Card: This is a funny, good-natured little piece about a guy who makes the mistake of taking a girlfriend to the holocaust museum for a date. She develops a preoccupation with the holocaust, and he decides to use his Jewish grandparents' Holocaust suffering as a way to elicit pity from her. Cute isn't the right word, but director Bob Odenkirk, in his 12-minute study of the dumb things we do while dating, makes an amiable effort at dark comedy.
