Did a scene in this movie remind anyone else of Terminator 1?

There's a scene in this movie where the Japanese assassin walks into the police station and starts gunning down cops looking for his target.
If you guys remember the scene in T1 where Arnie does the same thing and stalks the entire police looking for Sarah Connor.
Even some of the shots (camera angles etc) and layout of the police station were similar. there's even an almost exact clip (in this movie) where a black detective pops out of hiding to try and shoot the assassin from behind but the assassin turns round and shoots him first.

Anyone else notice this?
