I happen to go to the Century City screening and Rick was there and he was really gracious and excited and the movie was really friggin good! Definitely worth my 12 dollars. I say congratulations to Rick Yune he did it all on this movie.

shareI agree! I just watched the movie, expected little, but was positively surprised. It is a little heavy on clichés, but other than that it's a fine action movie. Actually it delivered the kind of action that I had hoped to see in Hitman and Max Payne. That being said, I'd love to watch a sequel with Rick Yune in the lead :)

if it were in the hands of a great director then it well could have been a great film. it looked very amateurish to me. and not just like a small budget film, because movies with small budgets can still be fantastic. it just kind of looked like, i don't know, like a made for tv movie or something about 10 years old.
acting was ok. storyline was lame, but if the action was hot it could have been sweet! unfortunately not so much...

I agree but I was much more disappointed. The story was terrible and unoriginal. Alot of cliches. A drunken jazzman as sensei and assassin ??? The fight and action scenes were few and far btwn. Too much editing in the fight scenes which means they were hiding some sloppy choreography. The acting was no surprise. Typical action movie acting.

The movie was watchable. Quite ok.
Good idea, good fight scenes, but, unfortunately, some poor acting and a very bad script ruined the movie...
