Yeah, you're right. When I was going through my Korean movie phase, I went on a Netflix blitz of every Korean movie that was rated at least 3 and a half stars or more. I had the initial impression that any Korean movie was terrific lol but then a couple of months later, I realized that it's like anything else. There are going to be great movies, and bad movies. Spy Girl was one of them haha. Frankly, I didn't care for half of them, but the really good ones were amazing (like Oasis). But some of them were downright stupid, like the one with the kids holding up a convenience store or something, with Ji-Tae Yu in it.
