Is it really only 80 minutes?

Why are movies becoming shorter and shorter? imo if a movie isn't at least 90 minutes it's a waste of time. it's like your just getting into the movie and than bam it's over.

Some movies tend to drag on. I haven't seen this yet so I can't tell you if that is the case but every movie doesn't need to be over 90 minutes to get its point across.

It is short, but it leaves you wanting more. :-)

Those 80 minutes feel like an eternity...

Because its not a very long story to tell.

More like 70 minutes, I'd say, and it's still too long. It feels like they took a 30 or 40 minute long movie and stretched out to 70 minutes. If they had made it half an hour long it would have been very good.

I agree with the OP, though: often, movies need to take their time to set things up and tell their story, otherwise they feel rushed, and their conflict resolutions feel like ass-pulls, but that is not always the case. Salvage's plot is simple enough that it doesn't need a long movie to be told.

I fast forwarded it the last 20min...one of the worst movies I've seen in years!
