No stars, no famous director, no budget and finally a very stupid audience.

Seriously take a look at the other threads and see how many lead headed morons, gleefully slate this mini masterpiece while not getting it at all.

And the lead Lauren Currie Lewis has the nicest arse I have ever seen on a slim girl. Not really relevant I know but hey I'm a bloke so I like that sort of thing.

Did you just call that actress a "slim girl"? hahaha Americans... Overweight is the new slim. Go to Asia or eastern Europe, then you'll see what real women look like. Jesus, dude.

I agree with all your other points. And no, I'm not saying this actress was obese, but she wasn't "slim" either. Did you think her friend, who was even more overweight, was "slim" too with her tree trunk legs?

Wow, you guys are just... unbelievable. Are you really all so fat that you don't even see it anymore?

reply

The guy used the word "arse". Americans do not say the word arse. We say ass. Only people born in the U.K. or the Commonwealth use arse. If you're going to insult Americans, learn English first.

Couldn't agree more. It's a shame this movie is only a 5.3 (as of today's date).

Guess most hollywood-hypnotized lemmings are too dense to appreciate it.

if it had a little more exposure, bigger budget and some known actors it would be a cult classic

I think the things that mainly turned me off to this movie were the dialogue and the acting. I liked pretty much everything else about this movie, but whenever I heard a character talk or saw an actor give a blank stare and talk lackadaisically, I wanted to punch myself.

Not a bad movie, but not a great one. I think the Crook Brothers have it in them to make something genuinely amazing. They just have to hone their talents.

They made the movie too long.

The premise is interesting (in fact, I looked for the movie after reading a couple of sentences on a website about it), and Lauren Currie Lewis was good enough to carry the movie, but, frankly, the movie was too slow. It felt like they took a 30 or 40 minute long movie and stretched it out to 70 minutes, and that's never a good thing.

I agree with other posters here: the Crook brothers clearly have talent, and they may go on to greater things.

About Ms. Lewis' ass... yep. Unfortunately, Hollywood has a marked aversion to curves, so there is a good chance she will be rejected for good parts specifically because of that. Damn shame.

Well, let's face it, it's a great blueprint for a film but it's incredibly flawed. Would love to see this remade by someone who really knows what they're doing.
