.... and i must say; either my intellect does not have the capacity to understand this movie to its fullest and therefore allow me to actually like it... or, it is just the stupidest and most pointless movie i have seen in a long time.
Someone please clarify the story of this movie to me.
this film surprised me and a lot of films dont tend to do that. I went in thinking it was gonna be horrid but it was actually surprisingly good. Never expected that twist. Very imaginitive! Of course it wasn't the best movie in the world but worth watching.

I just finished watching this movie. All I can say is wow. In my opinion, this movie is why people watch movies. Through the whole thing, while watching a particular scene, I would get chills. Even trying to keep that from happening through sheer force of will, I still got chills. I'm trying to figure this movie out, trying to figure out what is happening to this poor girl, and I didn't get it. I didn't get it until it got to the place in the movie where the director wants the audience to get it. I LOVE movies like that. This movie was great. The actors did a great job, the soundtrack was very good - no complaints about this movie. If you want to get a fright, if you want a good chill, if you like a good suspense thriller, watch this movie.
Freaking thank you. I just watched this movie and I loved it too. This goes on to my list of now three movies that actually scared me while I was watching it. Maybe it's because I watched it alone (I feel like a god damn pansey saying that) but I was seriously considering turning it off and watching it tomorrow during the day some time. Those white faces coming in from the dark, the mom, and the part with the killer's mouth in the book stacks; *beep* dude.
What else can I say? The acting was fine, the dialog was great. There were a few "who would say that right then" moments but absolutely nothing that was laughably bad like a lot of lower budget movies. The soundtrack was phenominal. It was also really funny at times.
To anyone saying it's impossible to understand until the last moment, you're not paying enough attention. I knew where she was and why things were repeating, I just didn't know why she was there.
Also, the sense of justice and satisfaction that the end gives is priceless.
This film was not that scary, it just relied on loud noises to scare. What I cannot understand is the scene in the shop where she/he was getting chased by nut boy, and got strangled. How was that relevant to the story?
And the police part where you learn she/he was fighting herself/himself and the picture of the serial killer, how was that relevent?
Who ever made this film likes ed gien, fight club, psycho and Jacobs Ladder a bit too much, and forgot about keeping the content relevant to the story. It would have been much better if the killer had killed others, and make him relive how all his victims died.
Don't try to understend those scenes. Noting happened in the world we know. She doesent even exists, nor his boyfriend, nor her mother. The only thing real in the movie is the killer's soul, being tormented in hell for eternity. Of course, we understand it in the last scene. C'mon people it's not that hard!! Use your brains! Danmit.
