So Lost...can someone explain what happened?

*Spoilers* Questions asked might ruin movie for those who havent seen it yet....

I got everything up till the point where the two "players" made love. Then wen they had a little drink the next morning the way they were acting confused me.
And everything that followed totally confused me.........

What happened when they went to go see the fortune teller? Why were they laughing?

What was significant about 3 months later? Why did they stop seeing each other?

Were they trying to see who can steal/ or ruin a relationship first at the end?

Did they end up going back out with each other at the very end of the movie?

The movie was skipping a lot for me, so I'm pretty confused too. Why did she leave him after that night they spent together? What was written on that note she left him.. grrrg. I guess she felt she didn't have any game left after giving it away, which was sad because he seemed to genuinely like her. But anyway to answer some of your questions...

When they had the awkward drink afterwards, I guess it meant they were getting tired of each other?? They both wanted to break up so they make their way to the fortune teller. (The fortune teller is a fake, in the beginning we see the guy using him to indirectly break up the psychiatrist) When they get there it seems that the girl regularly uses the services of this fortune teller too. The guy and girl both realize what's going on, they laugh, break it off.

They break up because ultimately they're after different things. She's looking for really rich guys to mooch off of and he's looking for ??? variety? I don't know.

And yes, that's what they're trying to do at the end, see if they can seduce the couple.

I don't think they ever become a couple again, but instead are just good friends.

on the note she left him, it said "to be continued...?"

I think that the "players" cannot afford to have a relationship despite of genuinely liking each other since they have a reputation to maintain. In the end, they decided to continue to become "players",date other people and became good friends.

I just watched this movie. I know this thread was started years ago but I must say I agree with the others, they did decide to stay friends at the end but at the very end of the movie we are given to understand that they might start dating again because while walking together after being dumped by their dates they see a couple (the first couple) kissing. Ji-wan soon realizes that it's her friend kissing an older guy and Min-jun sees that the older guy is actually his father. Next when we see them shopping together, Ji-wan receives a call from the same friend telling her that her boyfriend has a son (Min-jun)and that he's perfect for her, and at the same time Min-jun's dad is calling him, trying to set him up with his girlfriend's friend. They both seem interested to meet, not knowing that they will go on a blind date with eachother. I think it was cute.

Yeah, I think what you explained as the ending is correct. they took some time off, dated other people but ultimately get together after those phone calls. They are good friends, knows each other well and when it comes to settle in life, I think, they will chose each other as their life partners.

Funny that the posts in this thread are uploaded about a year after the previous ones.
