The movie had to be about something very disgusting, that was the point
They did not make this movie to be solely about "a woman blowing a dog". The act itself was just the catalyst / plot device that was required to elicit huge-enough feelings of disgust to have an affect on human relationships, so the aftereffects could be shown. It would be ridiculous to suggest that this movie is trivialising or condoning bestiality, if anyone is weird enough to go and do it after watching it in a silly movie like this then they're pretty *beep*ed up already. It's a MOVIE, not real life by the way...
I can see why they went with the dog thing, it is disgusting, and if they'd chosen something else it would have to have been equally as disgusting or worse for the story to still work. No person or animal suffered permanent damage on set or in the movie. Can anyone here who is so against the choice of act suggest a different idea that would have been acceptable to them and still worked in the story?
