Saw it on The Weekends(spoiler)

This movie was playing in Leister Square during the London Film Fest.

To be earnest, I had walked into this movie with no idea on what it was about, however after seeing it. I and my mates all had a mutual feeling towards it and we range in beliefs. I'm an atheist and I found the film to be very remotely entertaining, therefore I don't hate it nor do I like it much. The music was good however at certain times it got out of hand, such as how nearing the end, after the Jesus was placed on the cross. The mother and the followers start breaking into some long dance number and they were stopped by the soldiers but then again they broke back into the random dance sequence. The dance reminded me an awful lot of the zombie dance number in the music video Thriller by Michael Jackson.

The story and dialogue was also very flat, uncreative and rushed, but overall. I commend the film on trying to repackaging the normality of mainstream Christian story of Jesus life. Plus there were some good moments, which made me care about the Jesus character and I'm an ATHEIST! lol
