It's not a bad documentary, but it's doesn't really seem to know where it's going. Is it the story of how a small town reacts to gays? Is it the story of some lesbians who open a bar? Is it the story of the murder of Scotty Weaver? Or is it the story of how to stick too many montages into a film?

Bear Nation was more solid, but STGB was still watchable. Good luck to Malcolm with his Lady Gaga project.

I am watching it right now and agree with every point. I actually have a masters degree in documentary filmmaking and I will admit that this film has great things going on (please dont think I am saying I could do better, I certainly could not) but get to the point already! Way too much going on.
