This movie is a great accomplishment. I am extremely proud to have been a part of it. Personally it gave me a voice that has for so long been ignored. Yes, I am gay, but I am also a citizen of Meridian, Mississippi AKA Jesusland. I can not thank Malcolm and the crew enough for giving exposure to the variety of voices that can be heard at a "Small Town Gay Bar." Gay life in the bible belt is not all the glitz and glamour that can be found in a big city gay club, but having personally lived in Dallas, Texas, I can honestly say some of the best gay people I have ever met can be found in a backwoods little bitty piss ant country place called "Different Seasons" a place I and many others call home.

Like Steve, I also live here in Meridian, MS. It can be discouraging sometimes, feeling as if you aren't heard. The tight-knit community that we have all created for ourselves here, however, has made coping in small town USA a lot easier. THanks to all of the people who worked on this film; you guys are amazing.

Don't you anti-gay trolls have anything better to do than hang out on the obviously gay movie boards and b*tch about gays? Go protest some dead soldier's funeral or something. (I only tell them to do this so we can get them in a group and ignore them en mass) Didn't Fred Phelps give you a task du jour?
