I found all the main characters totally annoying, just mostly arrogant and immature people, and spouting of Kant, Freud, Satre just made them sound silly!
I didn't care much about what happened to them. Which i thought weakened the movie

I thought them more superficial than just annoying. For a lot of the film, at least until past the half way mark, I didn't engage with the story or characters at all. But by the end I was enjoying it and I think it was the scene at the restaurant where ex-ex-girlfriend Nell stormed off that finally pulled me in. In fact it was Nell and tiny bespectacled Molly that finally made it real.
